Like many countries, Rwanda’s schools have started staggered reopening…then closing. Lower Primary pupils haven’t been inside a classroom since March 2020.

The pandemic has starkly highlighted global inequalities in education, with a billion students affected by learning poverty…particularly girls.
Unless developing countries like Rwanda can invest urgently in making all levels of education a priority, the future of their national recovery will be slow and these countries will be left further behind.

More than ever education must be protected and PF remain committed to all their sponsored students to make sure none are left behind.
